I recorded this EP to have something to sell on a tour I did with Damien Rice... it was his first tour of the states and he was doing it solo and asked me to come along to open up for him..... I was super nervous as I had never done a solo show before and we had just recorded our electric EP and I was worried that if that was the only thing I had to sell, no one would like it because it was so rock so I decided maybe it was a good idea to record some of the other songs I had and do them just acoustic..... I did a couple of songs from the electric EP and 4 others that were ones we had not gotten to yet as a band.... It was challenging an revealing and was the first time I had produced and engineered something all on my own..... It is hard for me to listen to it as I do not think it is very good but it served a purpose and taught me a lot about myself and so I am happy for the experience..... I will probably do another record like this in the future as I love acoustic music and simple production.....
